ADVANCED -- BULLS BOTTOM - 15 Mile Loop - Distance to the trailhead is 27 miles. 24 of this is dirt road; most vehicles will be able to travel it. This ride has 10 miles of single-track, slick-rock style riding and 5 miles of desert roads. There will not be a sagwagon, but you will be met with extra water at 2 different locations. Please do not attempt this ride unless you are an advanced rider and are up to the challenge of this type of riding. This ride will leave the Museum parking lot at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

INTERMEDIATE -- JACKASS BENCHES/BLACK DRAGON - 21 Miles Shuttled Ride - Distance to the trailhead is 33 miles. 11 miles of this ride is desert roads and the other 10 miles is single-track down Black Dragon Canyon. The road out around Jackass Benches has a few climbs in it. The trail down Black Dragon Canyon is fast and furious. Near the bottom of Black Dragon Canyon you will visit a Petroglyph site.

INTERMEDIATE -- CLIFFDWELLER'S FLAT - 15.5 Mile Loop - Distance to the trailhead is 33 miles. 13.5 miles is on desert roads, 1.5 miles is single-track. This is not a technical ride. Often times this part of the desert is teaming with wildlife. The Wild Donkey's and Antelope are often seen here. The single track is pretty smooth and straight and not too hard to navigate. The ride is up and down, but not any real serious climbing involved.

INTERMEDIATE -- PLANET VULCAN aka THREE FINGERS - 17 Miles Out & Back - Distance to the trailhead is 15 miles. This is 17 miles of desert road. This ride is not a technical ride. If you classify yourself as a "Treky" you will want to do this ride and visit an area where part of the new 2009 Star Trek movie was filmed. Imagine yourself on the Planet Vulcan. In addition to this you will visit one of the most pristine Petroglyph sites found in the Swell.

BEGINNER -- NEFERTITIS - 5 to 17 Miles Out & Back - Distance to the trailhead is 10 miles. Begin at the famous Swasey's Beach and follow the Green River until you reach the Indian Rock Art Panel at Nefertitis. Visit an old homestead along the way. Ride all or any part of this ride you would like. It has a few climbs in it, but nothing too serious. The Green River is never too far away from you at any time during this ride.

WARM-UP RIDE -- CRYSTAL GEYSER - 18 Mile Loop with some backtracking - Begins at the Museum parking lot at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. You can ride all of the 18 miles or break it up into a shorter ride. Just ask one of the many guides that will be with you. There is a semi-serious climb to get out of Crystal Geyser, but overall this make a good warm-up ride.

SUNDAY'S RIDE -- BLACK DRAGON - 17 Miles Shuttled Ride - Distance to the trailhead is 33 miles. This is one fast, downhill ride that will demand your respect to stay on your bike. Lots and Lots of excitement! This is considered to be one of the most fun rides in the state.

THESE ARE THE RIDES THAT ARE PLANNED. THEY ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE IF NECESSARY.
